One of my personal favorites, reeking of Freudian/Jungian symbolism.
This is just stunning.
It makes me think
Very seamless. Very very nice composition as well. Are the images personal, or more random?
Thank you. This collage sort of captures a dream world that permeated my childhood, so I'd say it is very personal.
All my thoughts of collage stemmed from my early schooldays or the first brave crude times of surreal.Until i saw the potential that was avilable for a unique form of expression through your work. That is where they might have remained.I am going to start attempting to record at least simple ideas and see if it may be a medium for myself. After a number of operation and procedures i am left with a Parkinson like tremour in my hands.Possesssing a type A personality,i have been dissatisfied with painting and other more traditional forms of art presentation.Seeing what can be accomplished through this medium gives me some hope that this may be what i have been looking for.I wont have your years of skill to draw upon. But i do posess an abundance of creativity begging for release. So thank you for the providing the inspiration. No i haven't forgoten about your piece above.I can recall fevered dreams of this nature occuring during periods of recovery. This captures very well the power and startling variety of subject matter that appear in them.I am wary of individuals who lay claim to the idea that they are somehow able to interpret them. They may get a sense of them but the chaos and the sheer abundance of the images are overwhelming. There are are things contained within that can never truly be explained. They can only be speculated upon.I think that this work makes that point quite clearly.
